Home - Journeys - Thailand and Vietnam 2025 - Sunday, March 2, 2025

We had a good night's sleep with family in Lat Krabang.
We get up early and drink coffee and eat something.

Today we are going to look for new slippers for Tom. We call a taxi, this time it is a regular taxi because Grab does not respond, but that does not matter. The Seacon shopping mall along Thanon Srinakharin is the destination, we know that there is a Sketchers store and also a Robinson department store where they sell Sketchers and Scholl shoes.
When Pia wants to pay the taxi, it turns out that the driver cannot change, but that is no problem, paying with a barcode is also possible in a taxi.
We walk towards Robinson, and on the way Pia buys two blouses and a pair of trousers. We cannot find Robinson, strange because it is a very large store. When we ask, it turns out that Robinson has disappeared from Seacon.
The Sketchers store is still there, but we cannot find what we are looking for there.

After some talking, we don't go to Robinson Lat Krabang, but to the next shopping mall on Thanon Srinakharin, Paradise Park, becaus e Pia also wants to make an appointment with a hairdresser.
It turns out that the hairdresser where she often had her hair cut has passed away, but she can still go to a colleague this afternoon.
Nice, but that means more than three hours of boredom for Tom.
First we go for a bite to eat at Fuji, a Japanese restaurant, and the food is expensive and a bit disappointing.
And then the hairdresser, more than three hours and Tom doesn't have a PC or e-reader with him.
When the hairdresser is finally done we do some shopping at Villa Market and buy some food for tonight at Paradise Park. We take a taxi back home where we eat the food we brought with us.
